ABOUT THIS GATHERING
As we near the Day of the Dead, we gather in community to move with grief and remembrance, and to connect with the invisible world from a place of embodiment and groundedness.
We begin with a cacao ritual and mantra, opening the portal of the voice and gently cracking the shields around the heart. From there, we enter a guided somatic dance to meet and move with what is present.
Through the somatic map of the Three Mandalas — our outer, inner, and secret worlds — we explore and release zones of density in the body, expanding our capacity to listen and be present. As the body softens and perception opens, we create space for a deeper dialogue between sensation, emotion, and the unseen.
We then settle close together for a sound healing journey, allowing the experience to land and the frequencies to move through the places that words cannot always reach.
Held by the collective, we have an opportunity to experience grief and loss together — but perhaps most importantly, to remember that we are still here. Still breathing. Still moving. Still doing this human dance.
Beyond the Veil is an invitation to slow down, meet density with curiosity, remember what has been, and make space for what remains — so that we may continue our journey with a little more room inside.
